At ASHEC we do not need a descriptor in Cerner for the ICD-10. We enter he ICD-10 and the description auto-populates, if this is made mandatory for everyone - I think this will highly aggravate our office schedulers. I would like to see the ICD-10 and CPT codes NUMBERS be mandatory.
