INCREASE TIME-OUT LENGTH

The short time out of SSM is a problem. And I understand if you click on the sign-in again, it takes you to the home screen. I was working a patient and was almost to the registration side when I received a phone call. I was able to complete that call and do a lineup while I still had the case in the WIP. I then had to step out for a moment and when I returned I had been timed out. That caused me to be kicked out of the patient I had locked and another person was trying to book the same patient. We are not always able to keep touching SSM to stay logged in. Could we please get this time out extended ? -Tara Kozloski Surgical Scheduler, St. Vincent's Riverside

    I too, have had this comment from several schedulers......and it is VERY frustrating for them, as they are working clinic AND scheduling cases.
