Cancelation | Reopen canceled cases

Idea received from Michael Giffen 248-569-5985 ext 10505 mgiffen@entforyou.com:

I spoke with Michael and he reported 2 high priority issues that are concerning his practice. Both are known to our team and are high priority to other offices.

OR scheduler moves a case in Cerner by canceling and rescheduling the SSM case shows in SSM as canceled and is not updated.

1. When the OR scheduler moves a case in Cerner it cancels the case in Cerner. This is done without the office requesting it, it is done due to OR schedulers moving units, IT CONTINUES TO SHOW AS "CANCELED" WHICH THEN CAUSES CHAOS WITHIN MY PROVIDERS AND MYSELF and they can no longer edit the case or receive edits from Cerner in SSM.

THIS wastes so much of the office schedulers and the OR schedulers time trying to determine what happened!

Office needs the ability to reopen a canceled case once requested a cancelation in the event the patient calls back and the authorization is still valid.

2. I need the ability to reopen the SSM request after I've requested a case cancelation, and now the patient is calling back ready for surgery. Authorization is even still good. This happens frequently, and would be a huge time saver.
