I am currently located in the Baltimore Ministry, St. Agnes Hospital. I had the pleasure of seeing your application being used in the OR Scheduling Office setting, it is getting wonderful reviews and the end users are adapting quite well. During training we were encouraged to submit comments as the application is still in development.
In sitting with the OR Scheduling Posters, we had several observations as they scheduled their daily cases:
1. The need for a patient address field for new patients. 2. A distinct field for both the diagnosis code and diagnosis description 3. The CPT code and the procedure description appearing next to each other would help with data entry for the OR Scheduling Posters as they enter information into the EHR.3. There is a lot of horizontal scrolling for the OR scheduling posters. It may help to use the real estate to the right of the information summary boxes, showing the completed information more vertical as opposed to horizontal, thus resulting in less scrolling. I have included a screenshot from the training documentation shown below.
